i think red would probably be better...but it all depends on what the outfit looks like

Depends, my company had our Xmas party last weekend, and a lot of women wore red. So I guess if you want to blend and match, red. If you want to stand out and look unique, gold. How do you want to represent yourself that night?
Gold is the in color this year. Anything shiny or sparkles! Go Gold, definitely.
Honestly I would go with the red and do some gold accessories.

I’m guessing from your avatar that you have brown hair, so bear with me. I have brown hair as well and I wear a lot of red. If your hair is more of an auburny color you should probably wear the gold.
I would probally wear gold.
